redribbon

Today is the last day of our Red Ribbon Week celebration.  We had a great week full of spirit days, special classroom projects, and meaningful conversations about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.  Trinity would like to thank Deputy Crosson & his K9 partner Ace, Deputy Beckfield & Detective Heuser for taking time out of their schedules to speak to our students about the role law enforcement plays in the fight against drugs.  Students were able to see a demonstration of Ace in action and ask questions during the presentation.  They were just as excited when Detective Heuser stayed for recess.

While we did have lots of fun this week, it is important that we educate our children on the challenges and pressures they may face in our world.  We encourage you to use our activities this week as an opportunity to talk to your children about drugs. Let them know that alcohol and drug use will not be tolerated.  Secure & take inventory of your medicine cabinet to prevent prescription drug abuse.  Students will be bringing home their signed Red Ribbon Pledge tonight.  Please take some time to visit with them about this pledge and its importance. Thank you for joining us in our efforts to keep our children safe.
